New Year's Message for 2025

On this occasion of celebrating the old year and welcoming the new year, on behalf of China National Building Material Group, I would like to extend my cordial greetings and New Year's blessings to the majority of cadres and workers and their families, as well as to all friends from all walks of life who care about and support China National Building Material!

The year 2024 is the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China, and it is also a key year for China National Building Materials to further improve quality and upgrade.

In the past year, we strengthened the positioning of the new main business of “non-metallic materials manufacturing and capital investment”, successfully held the first industrial chain common chain action, the basic building materials industry is carrying a heavy load, and continue to play the mainstay, the development of new industries is unprecedented, the new material industry layout to form a benign ecological ladder of 1 billion-5 billion-10 billion, and revenue exceeded 100 billion yuan for three consecutive years. Its revenue exceeded RMB 100 billion for three consecutive years, three projects were selected as “100 major projects”, and it was awarded “A” grade for four consecutive years in the business performance appraisal of central enterprises and three consecutive years in the special appraisal and assessment of state-owned enterprises' reform. We have accelerated the layout of “Overseas Re-engineering”, established strategic cooperative relationships with a number of leading enterprises around the world, and accelerated the layout of overseas investment and localization of operations, further expanding a broad space for future high-quality development.

In the past year, the construction of original technology curator passed the mid-term assessment, the second phase of “unveiling the list of commanders” was launched, 17 achievements were listed in the “Recommended Catalog of Scientific and Technological Innovation Achievements of Central Enterprises”, the key technology and equipment project of high-generation float glass substrate won the second prize of National Technological Invention, and the world's first 8.6-generation OLED glass substrate product, which was independently researched and produced, was launched. The world's first 8.6-generation OLED glass substrate product developed and produced independently came off the production line. The Group has deepened international scientific and technological cooperation, established green low-carbon building materials innovation consortium with 14 units, consolidated the global leading position of new-generation electronic fiberglass, wind turbine blades, advanced ceramics, etc., and gained a first-mover advantage for further deepening of innovation leadership.

In the past year, the Group's data center won the highest standard national standard Class A data center grade certification, and the intelligent safety production management system achieved full coverage of the operation of production-oriented enterprises. The Group has accelerated the green transformation with full-cycle management, built the largest carbon capture project in the global cement industry and the world's first “zero-carbon” glass fiber manufacturing base, and continuously improved the “green content” of the materials industry. The reform of state-owned capital investment companies has been pushed forward, the “science and technology + capital” dual-wheel drive model has been perfected, and new industries and future industries have been cut into the new race track, further contributing the power of the central enterprise to improve the modernized material industry system.

In the past year, we have been listed in the list of top 500 global brands in terms of value for six consecutive years. We were the first to sound the Dongting Lake embankment rescue and relief “rallying cry”, and the effectiveness of rural revitalization targeted assistance has been awarded the highest rating for five consecutive years, further demonstrating the role of building materials to fulfill the role of central enterprises as the “backbone”.

In the new year, we will continue to deepen reform and innovation, respect the market, respect the rule of law, respect for entrepreneurs, carry forward the spirit of scientists, model workers and craftsmen, and make unremitting efforts to build a world-class materials industry investment group.

In the new year, we will strengthen international exchanges and cooperation, actively participate in the construction of “One Belt, One Road”, and promote the building of a community of human destiny through the internationalization of China National Building Materials.
