Deepening Cooperation for Win-Win Development  

To advance the group’s ambitious "Overseas Expansion" strategy and further implement its international development plan, Meng Qinglin, Chairman of Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited, led a delegation to Uzbekistan from December 4th to 7th for a series of business engagements. Focusing on green development, mutual trust, and expanded cooperation, the visit strengthened strategic high-level communication and multi-level practical exchanges, laying a solid foundation for the company’s long-term high-quality development in Central Asia.  

Invited to Attend Launch and Groundbreaking Ceremony of Major Energy Projects in Uzbekistan  

On December 5th, the launch and groundbreaking ceremony for major energy projects in Uzbekistan was held at the Tashkent International Convention Center. The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, attended and delivered a speech. Meng Qinglin, Chairman of Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited, was invited to the event, accompanied by Vice President Zuo Dayong.  

In his speech, President Mirziyoyev highly commended the outstanding contributions made by enterprises from various countries to Uzbekistan’s energy infrastructure development. He noted that the collaborative projects represent milestone achievements in Uzbekistan’s green energy transition, injecting strong momentum into the nation’s sustainable development.  

Receivd by Uzbek Leaders and Participated in Entrepreneur Roundtable Talks  

Meng Qinglin was warmly received by President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, and Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev of Uzbekistan. Under the witness of Deputy Prime Minister Khodjaev, Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited exchanged project cooperation agreements with relevant Uzbek government departments, laying a solid groundwork for the implementation of follow-up collaborations.  

During the roundtable talks, President Mirziyoyev instructed relevant Uzbek ministries to strengthen precise coordination and efficient collaboration with Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited. He emphasized building on existing cooperation to continuously expand its scope and enhance its quality, driving bilateral collaboration to deeper and higher levels.  

Visits to Uzbek Government Departments  

Meng Qinglin visited several Uzbek government departments, including the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources, and the Ministry of Ecology and Environmental Protection. Practical discussions were held on topics such as energy transition, green and low-carbon development, and environmental protection. Both sides exchanged views in depth, consolidated consensus, and charted a clear path for deepening multi-field collaboration and advancing project implementation.  

In-Depth Exchanges with Key Uzbek Enterprises and Signing of Cooperation Agreements  

Meng Qinglin and his delegation held business talks with major Uzbek enterprises, including the State Chemical Group (left image) and Karakalpakstan Building Materials Company (right image).  

With the State Chemical Group, consensus was reached on cooperation in green energy transition and low-carbon development. A series of key project cooperation agreements covering multiple fields were signed, focusing on upgrading Uzbekistan’s existing production systems. These agreements aim to provide customized solutions, strengthening the foundation for local green and low-carbon transformation as well as sustainable socio-economic development. With Karakalpakstan Building Materials Company, in-depth discussions were held on green building materials technology upgrades, production capacity optimization, and industrial chain collaboration. Multiple consensuses were reached, and a framework cooperation agreement was signed, laying a solid foundation for deepening practical cooperation and achieving mutual benefits.  

Inspection of Sinoma Energy Conservation’s Navoi Green Energy Low-Carbon Project  

Meng Qinglin held working talks with Farukh, Chairman of Navoi Nitrogen Fertilizer Company. Both sides engaged in practical exchanges on project progress, technical collaboration, and future cooperation directions. Accompanied by Farukh throughout the visit, Meng Qinglin inspected the site of the Navoi Green Energy Low-Carbon Project, invested and constructed by the company. He listened to project reports, supervised engineering progress on-site, reviewed safety production measures, and provided clear requirements for construction quality and safety management.  

Visit to Sinoma Energy Conservation’s Uzbekistan Office to Encourage Employees  

Meng Qinglin specially visited Sinoma Energy Conservation’s Uzbekistan office to meet and encourage the team of employees who have long been stationed overseas. He engaged in cordial conversations with the staff, highly commending their achievements in market expansion and project advancement. He encouraged all employees in Uzbekistan to stay true to their original aspirations, deepen local engagement, continuously improve professional service capabilities and localized operations, integrate into the broader context of China-Uzbekistan economic and trade cooperation through practical actions, and overcome challenges to achieve new successes in promoting green energy development.
